Instructions
Crochet Hook prep: Wrap rubber band around the very end of your crochet hook multiple times to create a “stop” that will keep loops from falling off.
Measure Your Mug – measure the circumference around your mug at the widest point.
Begin: Chain a row of chains equal to the length around your mug plus add about an inch for shrinkage.
Foundation Row 1: Pull up a loop in the back bump in the second chain from the hook and each bump thereafter. You should have the same number of loops as chains you made. (10)
Work NRP, Normal Return Pass: yarn over- pull through 1 loop, *(yarn over –pull through 2 loops)* repeat * to * until 1 loop remains on hook
Tip: Count the loops on your hook at the end of each forward pass. It should always be the same number of chains that you started with.
