Introducing the “Sweet November Tunisian Shawl Version 2”
Learn to Tunisian Crochet Mesh Pattern
This is my 2nd Version Tunisian crochet version of my favorite “Sweet November Shawl” in knit designed by Caryl Pierre. You can find the knit version on Ravelry. Tunisian Version 1 is HERE.
All of these shawls are inspired by the movie “Sweet November” with Charlize Theron where she wears a shawl like this one.
This 2nd version has a more open mesh feature than Version 1. Simple 1 row repeat.
The shawl is worked from the bottom point up. This is a wide triangle shawl. So the top edge is the widest and the height is shorter. Because of this, this shawl works up quickly.
A cool thing about this shawl is it is reversible for two totally different and interesting looks. Wear as is or add an edging or fringe for a boho look!
Work the shawl in any yarn you like to whatever size you desire. For a lacy look and feel choose a Tunisian crochet hook that is at least a couple sizes bigger than recommended for the yarn you choose. I always recommend creating a swatch before you begin to get your stitches looking the way you want them for this pattern.
Please refer to the video tutorial for step by step instructions.
