Introducing the “Crochet Flower Mesh Cuff & Cozy”
Learn two crochet flower patterns and this simple mesh tube that can be used as a wrist cuff or as a cozy for a drinking glass or a mason jar with candle. Perfect for embellishing drinking glasses in the summer to soak up condensation on your iced tea. And it’s a great lightweight way to wear some pretty, colorful crochet anytime of the year, especially in warmer weather.
BONUS USES!!!!
You can also make these for a Mason jar with candles inside them. So pretty!

Materials:
Approximately 100 yards total of 3 or more colors of fingering weight (#2) yarn. I used: Hobbii.com Rainbow Cotton
Other YARNS You can Use
- Premier Cotton Fair Yarn**
- Crochet hook 3.5 mm (E-4). **
NOTIONS
- Scissors **
- Yarn needle I used: Susan Bates Finishing Needles (Easiest to use) **
- Measuring tape **

Stiches Used and Abbreviations
Ch= Chain
YO = Yarn Over
Sl St = Slip Stitch
Sp = Space
St(s) = Stitch(es)
SC = Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
EDC = Extended Double Crochet
Special Stitches:
Extended Double Crochet:
YO, insert hook into next ST,
YO, pull through a loop (3 loops on hook),
YO, pull through 1 loop,
(YO, pull through 2 loops) twice.

Dimensions & Gauge
Flowers are approximately 2.75 inches
Cuff / Cozy is sized to your desire. Size featured in photos is 7” circumference and 2.75” height.
Instructions
NOTES:
- Measure wrist or glass circumference to establish length of starting chain for cuff/cozy.
- You can add beads to the outer petals of the flowers by threading the beads onto your yarn before starting the flower. Then when you get to the place you want to place your bead simply pull it to incorporate into a stitch. See video tutorial for demonstration.
- See pattern charts below instructions at end of pattern.
CUFF
BEGIN:
Chain a multiple of 3 plus 1 length that is equal to the circumference you desire. Join with slip stitch to the first chain to form circle.
Round 1: Ch 5, (counts as DC+Ch2), *Skip 2 ch, DC in next ch, Ch2* repeat *to* to the end. Join with slip st to 3rd starting chain.
Round 2: Ch 5, (counts as DC+Ch2), *Skip 2 sts, DC in next st, Ch2* repeat *to* to the end. Join with slip st to 3rd starting chain.
REPEAT Round 2 until desired height is achieved.
WAGON WHEEL FLOWER
BEGIN:
Chain 5. Join with sl st to first ch.
Round 1: Ch1, make 8 SC into ring. Join with slip st to first SC. <<ST COUNT: 8 SC>>
Round 2: Ch3 (counts at HDC+Ch1),
*(HDC in next SC, CH1)*
Repeat * to * to the end.
Join with SL ST to
2nd starting chain.
<<ST COUNT: 8 HDC>>
Round 3: Sl St in next Ch1 space.
Ch3 (counts as DC) DC in same sp, Ch2,
*(2 DC in next Ch1 space)*
Repeat * to * to the end.
Join with SL ST to 3rd starting chain. <<ST COUNT: 16 DC>>
Round 4: Ch1, SC in 2nd DC, (HDC, DC, EDC, DC, HDC) in next Ch2 Sp

Chain 5. Join with sl st to first ch.
